Editorial Policies

Focus and Scope

Criteria for publication in Journal of Technology, Mathematics and Social Science (J'THOMS)

are novelty, quality and general interest in experimental and theoretical basic sciences. Articles are welcome that deal with theoretical analyses, meta-analysis reviews, and results of research or empirical studies from all aspects of mathematics education, chemistry education, physics education, and biology education. Reports on new methodologies and comprehensive assessments of existing ones, as well as applications to new types of problems are especially welcome. Experimental papers are expected to be brought into relation with theory, and theoretical papers should be connected to present or future experiments. Manuscripts that apply routine use or minor extensions or modifications of established and/or published experimental and theoretical methodologies are appropriate if they report novel results for an important problem of high interest and/or if they provide significant new insights.

Peer Review Process

The article submitted to Journal of Technology, Mathematics and Social Science (J'THOMS) will be double blind peer-reviewed with both reviewer and author remains anonymous to each other. The article submitted will undergo review process by at least 2 (two) reviewers and will be checking plagiarism with maximum 20% similarity using several plagiarism detection software (Unplag and Crosscheck). The accepted research articles will be notified and available online following the journal peer-reviewing process. The language used in this journal is Indonesian or English.

 

Publication Frequency

The journal is published by the IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro twice a year, May and December.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
