Kesalahan Ejaan Bahasa Indonesia pada Artikel Daring di Laman Masjid Jogokariyan Yogyakarta

Abstract— Spelling is a science that analyzes the speech or sound pro-duced by a person through the use of symbols or sound images. Spelling is not only oral but also written. This study aims to describe spelling er-rors on the Jogokariyan Mosque website in Yogyakarta. This research us-es a qualitative descriptive approach. The methods and techniques of da-ta collection used are listening method and note-taking technique. The method and technique of data analysis used is the commensurate method with the basic technique of Pilah Elemen Penentu and the advanced technique of Hubung Banding Menyamakan. The results showed that there were Indonesian spelling mistakes in the online article page of Jogokariyan Mosque Yogyakarta. These errors are in the form of errors in the use of capital letters, errors in the use of italics, errors in writing prepositions, errors in the use of punctuation marks, and errors in stand-ard and non-standard words.
