Workshop Tata Kelola Teaching Factory (TEFA) dalam Meningkatkan Mutu Lulusan pada SMK Jurusan Akuntansi

Abstract


Teaching factory is the application of learning in schools based on real activities in the industry so that there is a link and match between schools and the industrial world. This service activity aims to provide increased knowledge so as to increase readiness in teaching factory governance and its implementation in learning, especially in learning Accounting. This activity was carried out with a workshop model which took place at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Klaten Utara followed by mentoring for 3 months. The participants of the activity were the principal, vice principal, head of the Accounting program, and 50 accounting teachers at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Klaten Utara. The activity was carried out in two stages, namely the material explanation stage and the implementation assistance stage. The results of the workshop in the material explanation stage were that 84% of participants understood very well and 14% of participants understood enough and 2% did not understand, while the results of the mentoring stage showed that 70% of participants were ready and 14% were quite ready to carry out teaching factory activities with good governance. The hope of this next training is that schools and teachers can become teaching factory implementers that support the creation of qualified and work-ready SMK graduates.

 

Teaching factory adalah penerapan pembelajaran di sekolah berdasarkan pada kegiatan-kegiatan nyata yang ada di industri sehingga terjadi link dan match antara sekolahan dan dunia industri. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan peningkatan pengetahuan sehingga meningkatkan kesiapan dalam tata kelola teaching factory serta implementasinya dalam pembelajaran khususnya pada pembelajaran Akuntansi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan model workshop yang bertempat di SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Klaten Utara dilanjutkan dengan pendampingan selama 3 bulan. Peserta kegiatan adalah kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, ketua program Akuntansi, dan guru Akuntansi di SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Klaten Utara yang berjumlah 50 orang. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan dua tahap yaitu tahap penjelasan materi dan tahapan pendampingan pelaksanaan. Hasil workshop tahap penjelasan materi adalah 84% peserta sangat memahami dan 14% peserta cukup memhami dan 2% kurang memahami, sedangkan hasil tahap pendampingan didapatkan bahwa 70% peserta siap dan 14% cukup siap dalam melaksanakan kegiatan teaching factory dengan tata kelola yang baik. Harapan dari pelatihan ini berikutnya adalah sekolah dan guru dapat menjadi pelaksana teaching factory yang mendukung terciptanya lulusan SMK yang bermutu dan siap kerja.
