Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Menulis Teks Anekdot dengan Menerapkan Metode Experiental Learning pada Siswa Kelas X

abstrak—Peningkatan kualitas pendidikan secara keseluruhan merupakan salah satu langkah dalam meningkatkan sumber daya manusia, dari segi kemampuan tanggung jawab sebagai manusia yang berpendidikan. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui hasil penerapan metode pembelajaran eksperimental memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap kemampuan menulis siswa kelas X 3 SMA Negeri 6 Surabaya. Dalam penelitian ini, diterapkan pendekatan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang melibatkan seluruh anggota kelas yang berjumlah 36 peserta didik. Sampel penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus menggunakan metode konvensional pada siklus satu, kemudian menerapkan metode experiental learning pada siklus dua. Hasil temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan dalam hasil belajar menggunakan metode konvensional dan pembelajaran yang menerapan metode experiental learning dalam menulis teks anekdot pada siswa. Siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan metode experiental learning mendapatkan nilai rata-rata tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang menerapkan metode pembelajaran konvensional, hasil ini menunjukkan keefektifan siswa dalam peningkatan hasil menulis teks anekdot menggunakan metode experintal learning.

Abstract—Improving the overall quality of education is one of the steps in increasing human resources, in terms of the ability to take responsibility as an educated human being. The purpose of this study is to find out the results of the application of experimental learning methods that affect the writing of anecdotal texts in grade X 3 students of SMAN 6 Surabaya. In this study, a qualitative descriptive research approach was used involving all members as many as 36 students. The sample in this study was taken into two cycles using the conventional method in cycle one, then applying the experintal learning method in cycle two. The results of this study show that there is a difference from the learning outcomes using conventional methods and the application of the experintal learning method in writing anecdotal texts to students. Students who are taught using the experintal learning method get a high average score when compared to students who use the conventional method, this result shows the effectiveness of students in improving the results of writing anecdotal texts using the experintal learning method.
